Step It Up! San Francisco Style Climate Change Day of Action

Bike for Change, High Noon @ Dolores Park

Recycle That! Art Show + The Conscious Carnival, 1-3 @ United Nations Plaza

Come to San Francisco's Step It Up event and help us defend the few blue skies our beautiful city has to offer. November 3rd will be a day of art, activity, and action. So join in and Step It Up San Francisco style. With your participation, this will be a day of change! Let our voices be heard, and let's keep those blue skies smiling back at us.

Local and state politicians are invited to share their commitment to climate action with the crowd, who will mainly be distracted with the following activities:

  • Bike it Up! - Come to Dolores Park and pimp your ride . Bike to the UN Plaza, with an entourage of electric & bio-based cars in tow. Show how much fun non-petro transport can be!
  • Blue it Up! - Show how you want those skies both clean & blue by donning your most funky & flyblue threads. Maybe blue body paint?
  • Step Right Up! - Continue tossing out fossil fuels at the Conscious Carnival - Step Right Up!
  • Art it Up! - Join our Recycle That! Art installation by showcasing your reclaimed or natural art at UN Plaza.

Babies to burners… all are encouraged! Step it Up! Come be the change! Join us in this day of action and let's make San Francisco and California the political leaders in demanding action to stop Climate Change.

What do we want?

  • No Coal, No Nukes, No Kidding! Moratorium on coal and nuclear plants.
